How To Import URLs in Terminus

You might have existing UTM-tagged URLs in a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) that you would like to import into Terminus. It will help you maintain all your URLs in one place where everybody on your team can access them.

Here are the steps for importing the URLs in Terminus:

1. Create A New Project

    1. Login to your account. Navigate to Projects. Click the arrow down button and click Create A New Project.
    2. Rename your Project to Legacy URLs, and under the Prohibited Characters, you can specify some constraints but if you want to maintain the URLs as is, specify as few constraints as possible
    3. However, if there are some URLs that don’t have all the campaign medium and source values, then you may uncheck all parameters so the import does not fail. Then click Save.

2. Import your URLs

    1. Click Import Your Existing URLs.
    2. From Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, open the file with your existing URLs (.csv file) and copy the URLs under the Fully tagged URL column.
    3. Paste the existing URLs inside the box and Click Import.

3. Verify the Import

    1. If everything goes well, you’ll see the “Successfully processed” screen. You can click See all URLs to check the URLs imported.
    2. If something goes wrong, you’ll see an error and how to fix it.

4. Import more existing URLs

    1. Navigate to Build Tracking URLs if you want to import more existing URLs.
    2. Click Import Existing UTM URLs so you can easily get all existing URLs in terminals and have them passed and ready to go a campaign.
    3. Follow the process again in Import your URLs and Verify the Import.
