How to Change Default Project Navigation?
This article explains how to change the default screen that appears when you open a project.
By default, projects open to the Create a URL screen. By customizing this setting, you can save time by landing directly on the section you use most, such as Campaigns, Mediums, or Sources, streamlining your workflow.
Setting Your Default Project View
1. Go to Project Settings
You can access a project's settings from two different locations.
- From the Dashboard: Find the project you wish to configure. Click the three-dot menu (...) next to the project name and select Settings.
- From an Open Project: If you are already inside the project, click Settings in the main navigation menu.
2. Show Advanced Settings
On the Settings page, scroll to the bottom and click the Show button next to the Advanced Settings section.
3. Select Your Default Navigation Page
Find the Default Project Navigation dropdown menu within the Advanced Settings.
Click the dropdown and select your preferred view from the list (e.g., Links, Campaigns, Mediums, etc.).
4. Save Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button to apply the new setting.
The next time you open this project, it will navigate directly to the section you selected.
Tips for Use
- Project-Specific: This setting is unique to each project. You can set a different default view for every project to match its specific purpose.
- Change Anytime: Your workflow can change over time. You can return to these settings and adjust your default view whenever you need to.
You have now customized your project's default navigation. For more information on project configuration, see our article on General Project Settings.
