How to Search and Filter Your URLs?
As you create more tracked links, finding a specific one can be challenging. Our platform provides comprehensive search and filtering tools to help you locate any URL instantly, whether you're searching by its destination, a UTM parameter, or a custom label.
This article will guide you through using the basic search bar for quick lookups and the advanced filters for more complex queries.
Method 1: Perform a Basic Search
Use the main search bar for a fast and simple search across multiple fields at once.
- From the main menu, navigate to the URLs page.
- Locate the search bar at the top right of the dashboard.
- Type your search term. You can search for a destination URL, a short URL, or any UTM parameter value.
- Press Enter. The list will instantly update to show all matching results.
Method 2: Use Advanced Search Filters
For a more precise search, use the advanced filters to query specific fields and combine multiple criteria.
- Click the filter icon (â–¼) next to the search bar to open the advanced search panel.
- Set one or more of the following filters to define your search:
URL & Page Details
- Destination URL: Find a link by its final landing page URL.
- Fully Tagged URL: Search using the complete URL, including all its parameters.
- Short URL: Search for a specific short URL you have created.
- Destination Page Status: (Requires URL Monitoring) Filter URLs by their status, such as In Error or Success.
- Destination Page Title: (Requires URL Monitoring) Search for a URL by the web page title of its destination page.
UTM & Custom Parameters
- Campaign, Medium, Source, Content, Term: Enter a value to find all URLs that use a specific UTM parameter. While you can search for URLs by their parameters here, you can also search for the parameter values themselves. To learn more, see our guide on How to Search for UTM and Custom Parameters.
- Any Custom Parameter Value: Search across all of your custom-defined parameters.
Metadata & Organization
- Any Info Field Value: Find URLs by searching for data in your custom information fields.
- Notes: Search for keywords you have added to the Notes section of a URL.
- Label: Select a label from the dropdown to see all URLs assigned to it.
- Convention: Filter URLs by the naming convention they adhere to.
- Created By: Select a user to find all URLs created by that team member.
- Created between: Use the calendar to select a start and end date, then click Apply to find URLs created within that specific time frame.
- Once your filters are set, click the Search button to apply them.
Combining Filters
The real power of the advanced search comes from combining filters. Here are a few examples to show how it works.
Example 1: Find all links for a specific campaign.
You want to see every URL from your "summer-sale" campaign that was used on google.
- Set the Campaign filter to summer_sale.
- Set the Source filter to google.
- Click Search. The result is a targeted list of only the google links for that specific campaign.
Example 2: Find blog links from a team member within a date range.
You need to review all blogs created by "demo" in August 2025.
- Set the Created By filter to demo.
- Set the Created between filter to the fourth quarter (e.g., Aug 1, 2025, to Aug 31, 2025).
- Set the Label filter to blog.
- Click Search.
- This shows you only the URLs that match all three criteria: the creator, the creation date, and the campaign label.
Example 3: Find error-free blog links from a product launch.
You need to find a specific display ad link for your Bing summer sale campaign. You know it was created by the "demo" user in September, but you don't remember the URL.
- Set the Source filter to bing.
- Set the Medium filter to display.
- Set the Campaign filter to summer_sale_20p.
- Set the Created by filter to [email protected].
- Set the Created between filter to a range September 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025).
- Click Search.
The search will filter the exact URLs that match all these criteria, allowing you to find a specific link without needing to know its full destination or short URL.
This highly specific search helps you quickly identify valid, relevant links for reporting or analysis.
Clearing Your Search

To start over or view the full list of URLs again, simply click the Clear button. This will reset all search filters.
Best Practices
- Use Labels Proactively: Get in the habit of applying labels to your URLs during creation. This makes it incredibly easy to pull up specific groups of links later, like 'Q4-Webinars' or 'Newsletter-Links'.
- Start Broad, Then Refine: If you're not sure of the exact details, start with a single, broad term in the basic search. From there, you can use the advanced filters to narrow down the results.
